I always get bladder infections, and did while I was pregnant also. I would drink cranberry juice, the acid in it helps, and lots of fluid to help dilute the urine so it doesn't burn as much. I don't know what you could do about the frequency, which is the worst part. I hope you feel better. Make sure your doctor knows how bad this is hurting you.

honestly the cranberry juice witll take most of the pain away and pretty fast too! Buy ocean spray. But bladder infections can get really bad and turn into something worse if you do not go to the doctor! There are some antibiotics that you can take and your doctor will have some way of helping you. In the mean time, just drink lots and lots of water and cranberry juice to ease the pain. Im sorry that happened to you! those things can be really painful!

I agree with the answers I've read. I'm 31 weeks and had a very bad bladder infection early on and then it turned into a yeast infection - which i could take monistat (the seven day treatment) But my doctor had me drink lots and lots of water and pick up 100% cranberry juice - it's very tart but you'll be amazed at how great it works. I hope you're soon feeling better - good luck and congrats on your pregnancy.

Drink lots of water and cranberry juice. That won't hurt the baby and will help flush out your bladder. Keep drinking even if you are better to help keep it from coming back. Also, my baby sister had this problem with her last pregnancy and the dr. put her on a med that she took once a day to help heal and prevent bladder infections. Talk to your dr. about it and see if you could take that. Sorry, I don't know the name of it. Best wishes.

Firstly, I would make sure you are drinking at least 2 L of fluid a day. You should be peeing clear and often to flush out the bacteria.
Also, go to a health food store and buy 100% pure cranberry juice. It's expensive, but trust me, it's SO worth it. Drink lots of that. It will help.
Also make sure you are not reinfecting yourself by practising bad hygiene (like not wiping from back to front).

When you go pee be sure to empty your bladder completely.

After any vaginal sexual activity urinate within 24 hours.

Take vitamin C and cranberry. Also probiotics may help.
