well the pill is used as emergancy contraception and it is only effective for about 48-62 hours after intercourse. So if she is showing up pregnant i am not sure if the pill will work...to terminate the pregnancy i believe you will have to have an abortion....but my advice to you is to really think about that before you rush to do it...cause all though it seems as a quick fix...it will be something you will both live with for the rest of your lives....and there are countless problems that she can have after a abortion that can even lead her to blead uncontrolably or not be able to have another baby....and please...please...do not make her feel forced into an abortion if she is not comfortable with it....if she is and you choose to have the baby...things will die down with the families and things will be ok...do not do something drastic without talking to people and thinking this through....remember you are thinking about terminating a life that is not yours....

UM, why would you buy a pregnancy test today? Sure you are not younger than 18. You cannot tell if someone is pregnant in just two days! She has too wait until she misses her period or a few days before, then she can test. It may be too late for the morning after pill but you are going to have to wait longer to get a real result.
How hard is it for your girlfriend to at least go on the pill if you choose not too use condoms?

After 48 hours morning after pill wont be an option. After that you would have to either have an abortion, or have the baby. But remember ABORTION IS NOT A FORM OF BIRTH CONTROL!!! Abstinence is. I think if you are old enough to have consenting sex, you should take responsibility for your actions. If it comes to show she is not pregnant, I seriously hope this taught you a lesson. Dont have sex until you are married. If you are going to have sex, at least wear a condom, which you should have been doing all along. Adoption is an option, give the baby to someone who can and wants to raise a child. Many couples would love to have a baby and cant concieve. Good Luck to you.

Wow. Um, maybe the morning after pill, but I'm pretty sure that has to be used somewhat quick after having unprotected sex. If you find out she is pregnant and you both don't want a child right now, she can do the aborton pill or a normal abortion, go to local planned parenthood clinic to find out your options. Next time use a condom, have her get on birth control, do something cuz just hoping it won't happen is not gonna work.
U never know she may not even be pregnant, so if she's not thank your lucky stars & next time think before u act..u know?

why didn't you think about that BEFORE you possibly impregnated her? There was a morning after pill you could have taken the day after to make the fertilized egg go away, but a few days later is too late and the only other option is abortion, which you DO NOT want to even consider, you and she will regret it for the rest of your lives. You should wait and see what happens, don't test until she misses a period... today is too soon, it won't show up...

well one a test wont pick it up if you just did it a few days ago second you could have used the morning after pill (has to be taken with in 72 hours) and a method you could and should have used was birth control to not have a baby but if its too late for that you can consider abortion. i am not in favor of that option you made the mistake now you need to follow through with it or adoption is always a choice.

Where was the condom during sex? You don't even know if she is pregnant yet, so take first things first. If she's not pregnant, do as the saying goes" No glove No love." Always use a condom or she can go on the pill, until, at which time, you are truly ready to be parents. If she is pregnant, decide together what to do & discuss your choices with both sets of parents.

if it was only a couple of days ago it probably wont show up in a home pregnancy test until right before shes misses her period(depending on the brand) there is the morning after pill but i think that only works 72 hrs after. If your not ready then u shouldn't be having unprotected sex, and remember nothings 100%!!!!! well except of course abstinence

It's probably too soon for that pregnancy test and too late for the morning after pill. Therefore, you are just going to have to wait. And then, if she is pregnant, you'll have to deal with whether she decides to keep it. If she decides to keep the baby, are you going to marry her? Start thinking. Even if you don't marry her, you'll need to support that child. And please, use protection next time to avoid all this. Hopefully, this will be a false alarm that will scare some sense into both of you.

If she tests positive it is too late. I believe you can get the emergency pills up to 3 days after unprotected sex. Anything after that You have bigger discussions to make, If you truly love your g/f dont push her into doing something she does not want to do. The choices she makes will stay with her forever.
If its more then the 72 hours , I would get a job, support your G/f and get used to the term Daddy...... Its a chance you take when you have sex.
