Robert Weston (Bob) Smith (21 January 1938 – 1 July 1995) was a gravelly-voiced disc jockey who became world famous in the 1960s and 1970s under the stage name of Wolfman Jack.

When The Guess Who broke up the two best musicians went on to form The Bachmann-Turner Overdrive (BTO), Bertram Cumming did a one-hit wonder song, and the remainder of the band teamed up with Wolf Man Jack to do "Clap For the Wolf Man". It was the last hit for The Guess Who. BTO went on to have a long and stellar career.

He was very very po-pular in the 70's. He even had some compilation albums made up and sold them on t.v. in informercials. I know, cuz I bought them all. He was also on the late night music show in the 70's called The Midnight Special. Yeah, the good ole days!

He was the best part of American Graffiti. That soundtrack just wouldn't have been the same without the ol' Wolfman howling!
