What are you trying to do, if you want to watch Sky on your computer it is possible as follows. Get a USB TV adaptot, which plugs into any USB port. I run an aeriel cable from the socket at the rear of my Sky box to the USB tuner. This permits me to watch Sky on the computer, the only problem being I can only watch whatever is on the main TV in the lounge. Hope this helps.

Do you mean a Sky+ box, so you can download the programmes stored on its hard disk? The answer is no, this isn't possible - Sky+ stores its data in a proprietary format, and you would still need your viewing smartcard to play back the programmes.

The only thing you can do by connecting a Sky box to a computer is to use the computer itself to record the programmes. You would need a TV capture card to digitise the data stream, and you could only do it in real time.
