Why do people make such a big deal out of it? If people want to walk arouind without clothes then they should have the right to.. Of course there are many bad things that come from doing this but why is it such a taboo in society?

Absolutely nothing - as long as you're naked in an appropriate place for an appropriate reason. Nudity at the beach, a friend's pool, or just lying outside on a warm summer day is absolutely awesome. It's incredibly sensual, and there's a big difference between sensuality and sexuality.

Remember, nude is not lewd...and nude in the sun is just plain FUN!

Picture this!

A look Can Kill

Man flown to Mercy hospital at noon today due to a servere automobile accident that left two other motorists dead. his condition is listed as critical. Names are being withheld til families are notified. The events of the accident are still unclear. The surviving injured was concious enough to speak with the office on the scene briefly. He was driving along when he spotted a woman wiith huge ample breasts walking naked doen the street. He had to look. Next thing he knew he was flat on his back in the middle of the street.

Need I say more! The other side is a poor teen being blindind for life after seeing a 350 pound obese woman walking naked down the street. He claims he didn't know they could hang that low.

There would be nothing wrong with it if we all did it. I feel there would be something of a culture clash if I walked down the street naked encountering women of the Islamic faith dressed head to toe in black coming in the opposite direction. I am not remotely modest but their belief is in complete modesty. I used to want a nude society very much as I love to be naked and free but it is not for everyone and the whole point should be that everyone wants to participate. I am a big fan of Spencer Tunik (is that right?) and his photos of huge swathes of naked humanity from public volunteers. It's all very lovely but this is not a perfect world we're living in and we do not all think the same thing so we should never impose our own ideals on those who would find this abhorent.

There is nothing wrong with nudity, the naked body is a natural beauty. Though in this society we live in, there is a time and a place for everything. The many bad things you speak of is part of the corruption of our society. If you want to walk around naked, it would be wise to find a place where everyone else does the same. Lets hope that someday this world we live in will not be so corrupt. In the mean time, try not to offend anyone to bad, and try not to get yourself thrown in jail !!

Because our society has made the human body nude into something "sexy", "trashy", and "nasty". I blame the strippers, the prostitutes, the men who go for the strippers, prostitutes, the rapist, the image of beauty etc.

The human body is a beautiful thing. It's sad that being nude is such a nasty thing to some. Oh well..

Nothing at all, attitudes are mainly due to the influence of the Judea-Christian religions on society. These religions are based on prohibition, abstinence and the glorification of discomfort. Anything with sexual connotations has traditionally been banned by the Church as sex must be confined to marriage, a sacrament of the Church.

Because as a society, our collective morals that make the laws says that nudity is bad for the society as a whole.

Think about it, how many people that you meet every day would you REALLY want to see nude?

I'll bet not many.

If you have kids, do you really want them growing up with naked people all around them?

Peace!

I've been seeing a lot of questions on nudity lately.. is it mating season or something?

I'm sure all of this could be traced back to Adam and Eve being kicked out of the garden of eden. But I don't believe in God(s), so I won't go there...

There is a time and place for everything.

Nudity has it's place and walking around without clothes in the general population is distasteful.

Just thinking about someone sitting on the bus naked is yucky.

There is nothing wrong with nudity. However if your being Nude upsets the others that share your space you need to be considerate of their feelings.

Also, look up the word respect in your dictionary...
