I mean come on...which is worse? Being frumpy and dumpy or putting a little effort in your looks?

not at all!

it might be a bit strange for your son/sons (their friends might get crushes on you-which is awkward and creepy for them at best). but its a small price to pay to keep you feeling good about yourself, and your husband drooling.

There is nothingwrong with being hot if the goal is of "being" hot is right. You see some moms who are single wants to be hot to attract men.As long as you aim to only get your husband's attention and not the attention of other men then it is totally ok.Wether you're frumpy and dumpy or hot as long as you're faithfull to your husband and dont use it as an excuse to get jiggy with other mens then it is acceptable by moral and social standards =)

There is nothing wrong with taking pride in your appearance and being a "hot" mom. I would hate to think it was at the expense of being a mom, though. Like the kids SHOULD come first.

There is nothing wrong with it.
I try my best.
And i can not stand people or other women who act like you are neglecting your kids just because you flat iron your hair every morning and dress nicely.
They, for some reason get the impression that you spend more time on yourself than you do your kids...even though your kids look great and act great too.

No, I make an effort to nice everyday. I am representing my family when I walk out that door. I look pretty and dress up for myself though, not for attention. It's makes me feel good. Who cares what everybody else thinks?

It is ok to be a hot mom.... but not toooo hot. My 13 year old son has a friend whose stay-at-home-mom is hot. I met her, she is a bit too hot... she stays at home with 1 kid and dresses like she is about to go out clubbing... great body, very slutty revealing clothes. Her son has friends who go over there to hang out just to be around her. Now my 13 year old son tells me she made suggestive remarks to him... always has to hug him when he shows up. HE THINKS SHE IS HITTING ON HIM!! I don't know if it is true - maybe it is his imagination going wild.... but he sure is not allowed over there any more!

You shouldn't have to choose between being hot and being a mom. You should just be a hot woman whether or not you're a mom.

no, its not wrong......after all, the mom is also a human, she too may have desire to look hot...
but, u know, the problem is where?
child sycology likes to see their mom smart.........but, most of the time, (in case of sexy look) if any one comments on their mom---it gives serious mental pressure to them....
giving birth is so easy, but, to deal with child sycology is really tuff...side by side they want to see their mom the smartest, but without listening any comment on them. And, if they become dishearted about any of their mom's attitude, it will extreemly damage their feelings and they may be go away from u..........so, its really tuff. try to follow their mind....try to get, on which they r becoming happy on which they r feeling insulting....hope it will work.

We should all want to be hot moms! No matter what else is going on, I manage to do my hair and makeup each day... and try to eat healthfully, exercise, etc. I do it for myself, my marriage and also to set a postiive example for my little one. :)
