I watched it last night but can't remember the beginning exactly from the first time i watched it. I was curious about the ending with Josh Hartnett and the chic from gilmore girls...did that part go into detail in the beginning....

Sequel is scheduled for a 2008 release. Josh Harnett's character is probably a hit-man and portrays the senseless cruelty theme in the movie. Johnny Depp and Antonio Banderas may star in this sequel.

It is currently in pre-production stages (is rumored that they Johnny Depp will be in the starring role) and due out in 2008.
