They just perceive it as boring because they have a different opinion of what is boring, and assume because they aren't loud and obnoxious they must be boring.

Do you know Nairo,Im having exactly the same concerns as you!
I am very quiet and likemy own space. I have handled this concern by thinking to myslef "even though quietness may be PERCEIVED as a weaknesses or boringness by some people, it CANNOT make my entirety as a person weak or boring, cos sometimes i can act boring AND exciting when the time is right."
Ive come to realise a lot of it is also not caring too much and wasting my time worrying about what others think.

Once again this is another stereo-type. Generally quiet people tend to be more boring because they don't engage in conversation or know how to make one last. This does not mean that every quiet person in the world is boring. This stereo-type is like every other one where it just generalizes a large group of people. Quiet people can be very fun, but it doesn't mean that they can't be boring either.

I don't associate a quiet person as boring, I associate them as shy. I'm sure that you enjoy the same kind of things as us noisy people too. LOL. Don't worry about what other people say or think. Everyone gets judged and ridiculed unfortunately for something or another. As long as you are at peace with yourself then that's all that matters. Keep having fun quietly. LOL. I bet you get less headaches than the rest of us. Have a great day. Good luck

I don't perceive people who are quiet as boring but I do think that they may not have much to say. Quiet people also listen to what other people are saying.
If the person is young then I assume they might be shy if they don't say much but if they are older then I assume they just don't have much to say.
I can't determine if they are boring until I hear them talk. People can talk a lot and be very boring!

Here, here! I'm a quiet person by nature and when I do speak, it's with an experienced voice and that seems to confuse people. I also have good hearing which helps me to pick out conversations that have nothing to do with me and sometimes they are funny and I can't help but laugh and then I have to explain myself of why I heard that conversation clear across the room and then I have to say that I was not being nosy.

The big loud-mouth, the life of the party, the one with all the jokes, is the one who is heard over any of the others.
The one who sits back and listens to the B.S. and knows the real answers is the one they come to for advice. But in a crowd, the loud-mouth has the floor.

I talk all the time and love my quiet friends : ) However, it's true that the "quiet ones" are always the craziest people around. They just wait to make sure almost no one is around before they start being silly.
