The Gates Foundation gives billions of dollars to charity, and does a tremendous amount of good, especially in areas of world health and in education. Technically that's not Microsoft Corporation, it's Bill and Melinda Gates themselves, so I don't know if that's the info you're looking for.
Last year Warren Buffett announced that he's joining the Gates's in their philanthropic efforts.

Would your foundation like to support the local law enforcement in Pinellas county fl (Tampa area) in our 2014 " Proud to be drug free directory"? Off duty officer's go out and educate kid's on drug's & crime and try to get them into sport's and education so ultimately they're stealing 2nd base instead of the car out in the parking lol!

there are two kinds of donating companies out there.one uses there company name and donation boxes.what people put in them then pass off as a company donation.the other is a math donation where they match as they collect.most companies that donate look for places they believe in when it comes to helping people in need. like Deborah heart and lung,American heart and lung,red cross,united way,feed the childred,Alex's lemonade stand,and any place that are none profit.it helps there taxes under charities.
