The music and concerts were the best. You could buy a used muscle car for $2000 all day long and it was in great condition. Gas was a buck. I even liked the old cheezy TV shows and all the wild bright colors.

You bet. No AIDS, we were against corporate instead of being corporate, money didn't matter. Everyone was cool, you could hang with whoever and be accepted. Miss it a lot. Peace.

I loved 1977. My dad went with me to buy a used car. He picked out a 69 Roadrunner for $1000 ( rear fender was dented but I didnt care) and he thought it was a little too big for a little 17 year old girl like me. Ha Ha Ha...I LOVED that car and I dont think he ever knew it was concidered a hot rod. I worked to pay that car off in under a year. That was the best year ever!! (and now my son is into the music I used to listen to in the 70's.Slowwwwww Rideeeeeeeee, take it easyyyyyyyyyyyyy. At least I think that was from the 70's.....?)

I was born in the mid 70s, so I missed most of the decade. I do however remember Three Mile Island, the Iran Hostages, and terrible clothes. The tv shows were great.

yes I had some of the best days ever in the 70's. More carefree and happier times in many ways. I miss the 60's too in some ways. The longing for the good ole days!

Yeah! that was a good time, but I preferred the 60's and the wild music and free loving from all those freaky chicks, the coffee houses,it was very cool back then.

I Love the 70's, it was the best!

Life was simple then...you could actually go outside and play without worrying about thugs and guns. Everthing was affordable.

Yes, yes. We all miss the energy crisis, Vietnam, the Cold War, Watergate... Hey, wait a minute. Nevermind, I think I'd rather live in the present.
