hi ..ok my husbands younger brother has been recently married .
the new bride is good enough ... but do u think that everybody compares ?

Its human to compare and we have to live with it. If you are good why care?
As a family they would look on a Daughter-in-Law for beauty not from outside but skin deep.

Everybody may not compare but u r certainly comparing her with yourself. See what good things in her behaviour u donot have & try to chang yourself accordingly to be better than her after a lot of thought about it. I hope soon u'll be liked better than her by all but don't express the same after that achievement to maintain the quality of winning the hearts of all good people u like.

hi, Only one person compares and that will be you.
This happens in every family. Soon you will feel lonely and depressed becasue the younger inlaw will be the focus of attention.
But be careful, dont let the emotions take over you, keep doing you routine activities as usual. You have more life experience and soon she will need help in family matters. Be ready to help her.

Sure they do but not to your face. Its human nature to try to down someone to make yourself feel better, you say she is good enough like you have been the one doing the comparing???

ofcourse everybody compares.
So I will suggest that you pay special attention to how you dress, cook and 'be' in the next year. If you slip up, she will be the 'good bahu' and you will be the slop.
