I would tell her to go to AandE. She shouldn't wait till friday. Getting pain and heavy bleeding is not good and she needs to see a doctor (a different one if nessesary). This is what happened to me, my doctor refused to give me a home visit after I'd been bleeding for weeks. I woke up one morning after cramping for a day or two and was in quite a lot of pain, the bleeding was also heavier. After getting no joy from my doctor (he told me to travel 12 miles to the surgery so he could examine me), I phoned an ambulance, they didn't even let me walk to the ambulance. Sadly I lost my baby that day. I am sorry to give you worrying news like this, but she really should get medical attention. Good luck, I really hope everything goes well.

Her body may be rejecting the baby. It's not uncommon. But heavy bleeding during a pregnancy is not something to dismiss. If she can, have her get off her feet as much as possible. If she begins to have cramping, that may be a sign that miscarriage is underway.
I would try a different Dr. I went through 8 in a depressed area of the US, where even Drs. aren't too bright,
before I found one that was good.
She should go to a different Dr.
Also, eating greens which contain vitamin k is wise all through pregnancy. Leafy ones like kale, chard, spinach are the best. One or more servings a day is recommended. That vitamin protects from hemorrhaging during and after delivery.
Also, it is absurd to think that EMO... is a doctor. He/she is obviously NOT. You should never use tampons when you are pregnant to avoid infection and tylenol is never recommended by a Dr. just off the cuff like that. That's abusive EMO, get real!

Its not that unusual for some bleeding , but if its heavy i would phone your GP or even the hospital to get another scan as this happened to my daughter-in-law, and i don't want to scare you but she lost the baby at 14 weeks, so best to get checked out again good luck
