Life in general is uncertain, compared to inevitable Death which we all face in our own drowning abyss of mortality!
The certainty of life is how you live it and the actions you play out. If you want something bad enough you'll go out and get it!
If you sit around waiting for things to happen then your just a fool. Life is only certain in the process of how we play it out there are no answers other than this!
After all you could go out tomorrow and get hit by a bus...
Its what you want and achieve from life that makes it certain in this winding down game we face everyday!

Life is never meant to offer human mind any absolute certainty about anything for that would pronounce death to life's purpose – certainty is always in absolute. You need to earn your share of certainty in this world, for to live is to continually contend with doubtfulness at every step of the way and maintain faith and therefore trust in all you have as your world. If you try optimism you will soon realise that this world is not good place at all; it is instead a potentially very dangerous place to be in due to its dire uncertainties; the only thing that one can be certain about here is uncertainty itself. For this is what it means to be alive and this also makes all the reason for discovering faith in you own very heart, a place that you can always trust. But even this private and sacred place requires constant inspection and updating.
Need for certainty is in human nature but need for faith is in human heart. Faith guides and govern human nature from the heart where mind is alert and in service; fait earns all the certainty that a man would need for the purposes divine and not merely for the instinctive purpose innate to human nature.

It depends on your personal benchmark for certainty. Even "cogito ergo sum" can be argued from some angles. I'd say no. You can't even be certain you exist. Fairly sure? - yes! Certain beyond any possible argument? - no!
However, I like to spend my Thursday evening annoying people with my poor grasp of solipsism and nihilism.
Perhaps you can be certain of that?
(Tomorrow I will be mostly annoying people using drunken karaoke.)

Hey! That's cheating - you put that in after I answered...
Other than death, you can only be certain of what is in your own mind!

Had a longer think on this one. The answer is yes and no. It depends upon what that thing is. Somethings are certain straightaway and other take longer to be certain.

The only thing that is constant is change and you will die someday. The universe exists inside your head. You can be certain, however, that I am very drunk and Carlsberg Special Brew IS the best lager in the world!

You cannot be certian of anything, even death. How do we know that this is really reality? Maybe when you 'die' it's like having the reset button pressed and we just live our lives over and over again like groundhog day or something?
