For fractions, use as long division
Example: 1/4
__________
4| 1
1 dividible by 4 is 0, place 0 for 10
0.2
__________
4| 10
10 dividible by 4 is 2, since 2 is beyond the original number of integers, place decimal point first.
0.25
__________
4| 1(0) 2(0)
remainder 2, place 0 to make 20
20 into 4 is 5

To change a fraction into a decimal, divide the numerator (top number) by the denominator (bottom number).
To change a decimal to a fraction, move the decimal point 2 places to the right (for example, .45 becomes 45) and put it over 100 (for example, 45/100). Then reduce the fraction to lowest terms.

divide the top number (numerator) by the bottom number (denominator)
ex.
3/4 = .75
its a little harder changing it back to a fraction but TI-83 and TI-84 have a button (Im looking at a 84 right now) right under the alpha key called Math and the first option is "->Frac", which will turn many decimals back into a fraction.

Divide the fraction out and move the decimal point 2 places to the right to give %.
e.g. .A....1/8th = 0.125 = 12.5%
........B....2/3 = 0.666 = 66.6%
........C....1 & 3/5ths = 1.60 = 160%
