over simplifying things abit aren't you? The price of Gas goes up and down at the whim of the oil companies, because we are oil addicts. this country would grind to a halt if the flow was stopped. Big oil knows they have America by the short hairs and no one is going to stop them from doing as they please. 5cents My A$$!!!! prices rose over 70 cents per gallon while the price of a 42 gallon barrel of crude changed only $2.00

More than that, think of all the stocks that the Bush family has invested in oil companies. Kinda sheds light on the real reason we went to Iraq

Our government is just organized crime.
And we allow it! Actually we keeep asking for it!!

The two go hand in hand.

Laissez-faire baby!
Government and business go together 'too well'. That's why business shouldn't be regulated. It should be up to the consumer.

Don't like oil? Don't but it. Problem solved.

Want government to control things?
Guess one isn't mature enough to make ones' own decisions.
