I think it would hep if women were better counseled on what they were "actually" doing, not just the watered down version that planned parenthood gives...they have so many ppl telling them its not a baby, ok? then why does it have a heartbeat, why is it growing...ppl go around making it sound like a procedure...it a life....I try to be nonjudgemental bc I dont know ppls situation but I honestly think if young women knew EXACTLY what they were doing they might rethink....I do think that women who use abortion for birth control should be locked up, my husbands ex aborted 5 of his babies, then told him when they broke up, she has had 3 abortions since then...they have one son together and she always says, " I had 1 kid for a reason, I want to spoil him! " I just wonder how he will feel when he is older and finds out HOW he became an only child...SAD...God Bless!

Seperation of church and state the theory that abortions could be unlawful is principally from the relgigous and in no way takes under consideration of the rape or incest. base line they could be allowed in those severe cases. The psychological wellbeing of the mum to that end may be the time-honored challenge. even nevertheless i'm a guy and that i do no longer think of my say has plenty weight in the subject remember handy. the lady could have the potential to return to a call. word those type of folk in politics who say they're for or against it are men. What do men be attentive to appropriate to the recommendations women folk could make some being pregnant? a detention center term could in no way be inflicted for this determination. Ever. Are we actually entering into the dark a while lower back the place relgion and fantasy administration our society? i've got self assurance in god. even nevertheless the seperation of church and state is there for a reason. Sgt we can worship as we elect. we are based on the muse of being able to worship freely yet those worships could proceed to be seperate and have no touching on government. it is hassle-free to have a great ethical compass without religous guidlines. Plus the Founding fathers. some the place Protestant Christians others the place Deists. They believed that unfastened men have the liberty to make your ideas up on what terrific for them and it fairly is a god given good. even nevertheless; government has little say. The shape is to guard us from enormous government telling us a thank you to worship and the thank you to stay consequently why the pilgrems fled england by way of religous persicution. Are we actually going to go lower back there? The shape is there for many different reasons. each and every person desires to be certain it printed undeniable as day black and white on the founding checklist. it is only effortless experience. such as you mentioned only examine the factor. Our founding fathers the place no longer attempting to be poets who needed us to take a seat down and contemplate the inventive type they chosen over drafting the form.

No I don't think a woman should serve jail for having the abortion.
1) why does it have to be the woman ...why can't it be the one who performed the abortion
2) if women had to serve jail time ...all that would happen is abortions would " go underground" and happen where "no one would know" ...one of the reasons abortion became legal .....to stop abortions being performed in unhealthy places where women could get infections and end up having additional problems

Unless you have been in their shoes, you have no place to judge anybody for the decisions that they make. What do you think, some pregnant women just wake up one day and say, ooh I think I'll go have an abortion today. There are many circumstances that lead up to making that decision. I'm sure that many women that have had an abortion feel terrible about it.

I do believe abortion is wrong. Yes it is murder because you are choosing to take the life of another and that person has no choice in the matter. I don't believe jail is the answer though, a woman has the right to choose because it is her body after all. She has to be the one to live with her decision and many do regret it for years.

Please dont tarnish all situations with one brunch. I had an abortion, however my baby was developing abnormally and that was noted in the early stages and it was one of the hardest decisions I have ever made.
Consider the situation before judging an individuals choice.
The idea of having such a procedure is not taken lightly in many cases, and baby abnormalities are common.

I am not sure why you are bringing up such a sensitive subject in an area where there are clearly pregnant women, are you asking just to upset people? Everyday abortions are done for whatever reason and in my opinion it is the woman's right to choose what she wants to do with her body... it is not your choice, and never will be your choice. Who are you to judge those that have abortions? Who made you queen? I think abortions are a necessary procedure. I hate to tell you this but its legal and they can not punish someone for doing what is legal. This is something that you are just going to have to accept, because I do not think it will ever change. We will never see eye to eye on this subject.

Well, we have what is called the right to choose! Freedom of choice! There are already enough unwanted children in the world that are neglected and not in good environments! If a woman is smart enough to know that she can not provide for a child and take care of it, why should she be punished?! I have children myself and take very good care of them...I totally think that adoption is a wonderful alternative and maybe more women should be educated about that instead of abortion but, as I said...it is her right to choose! Sometimes there are very good reasons! Rape for example...should a woman be jailed for having an abortion after getting pregnant from being raped? Should she be punished again? Sould she have to be reminded for the rest of her life about how she was violated? There really are good reasons sometimes! Think about it!

Since abortion is legal...they aren't breaking the law when they decide what to do with their OWN body...Who do you think you are to decide what another woman does with her body?
