No, the FDA mandates that they must be just as equivalent as their brand name counterparts. In fact, most generic pills are no different than brand name pills, but some may have a very slight change in non-medical ingrediants that does not effect how your medication works.

No, they are just as effective as the brand name items. I was on one & switched to it's generic cousin in order to save $30-40 a month as some insurance companies will not cover birth control. Cheap pro-life bastards. Anyway, the last two years before I had my BTL I was involved with someone frequently. I'd have to say I did worry at first, but it was never an issue. Feel confident.

There really is no difference in the generic equivalents of oral contraceptives. I rarely speak to anyone who needs to have brand necessary prescribed. Truth be known, some of the generics are made by the same companies that manufacture the brand name drugs.
