Some of the most important topics/subtopics in the 1960's seemed to turn to music, fashion and peace. These all met together in many arenas during sit-ins, love-ins, concerts, rallies, etc. Music and fashion made the statements of the people, then peace was the definitive theme throughout the decade. Everyone wanted peace, still do...
You could really get a lot of material and pictures on the movements of the 60's if you research key words like Woodstock, Peace Movement, Hippie, Psychedelic. These keywords will bring you to a time that seemed simple, but complicated by the establishment who resented the movement.
