I personally like Lehman College. Barauch College is hard to get in, but it has a good liberal arts program as do hunter college

The best in CUNY for the liberal arts are Hunter, Baruch, Lehman and Queens. Hunter and Baruch are the stronger of those four.

Hunter is considered to be a really good school, and has an interesting program for Freshman called the block program.
Baruch also has a great reputation, but is largely known as a business-oriented college.
