You are the real you all the time, what you act like is another question. When you spend a lot of time with a group or one person, they will see the you that is not the act. The act will slip.
There is a difference between being rude, and being artificial. I allow myself to be the real me, but I am still polite.

Yes I do, whats the use pretending, when eventually all your pretending and lies catch up to you. If people dont like who are and they cant accept that, then they are the sort you shouldnt be mixing with. Dont allow others to influence who you are and what you are.
Just be yourself, everything will seem so much better!

Cool question
Yes on the whole but sometimes I step back a little or restrict myself a little bit if it allows someone to feel more included or relaxed. i suppose i allow myself to be who I am but at the same time try to be sensitive to the people around me.

I cannot imagine being anyone different than the real me! It would be way too complicating and I would be zapped of all my cheerful countenance! Have a terrific day! Annie

To my friends I am a laugh and dependable
To my Girlfriend I try to be a perfect Boyfriend

Around my friends and family I'm more of myself. In public I have to curb my crazy personality.Yet my personality comes out later in the evening around familiar people.

No and i don't think many people do. I make resolutions to be more of myself and to be who i really am but its all too easy to fake the happiness and too laugh at things that u sit back and look at and think why did i laugh at that or gosh he must think i'm really stupid.

Nope, not since I'm married, it seems like everything I do when I do, is innapropriate.... I don't understand because when we met, I was myself and he liked it. Your question really pissed me off because it's making me think about a lot of stuff that I don't even want to think about anymore...

Yes I am who I am. I don't believe in false fronts. If people don't like me for who I am then I don't need them or want them as friends.
