"In Iraq, only our enemies were cheering" when House Democrats enthusiastically passed legislation setting a timetable for a troop withdrawal, said John McCain.
"A defeat for the United States is a cause for mourning, not celebrating," he added.

In October 2004, then-Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert claimed that al Qaeda "would like to influence this election" and would be more comfortable if John Kerry were elected.

This past August, Vice President Cheney claimed that anti-war voters in Connecticut were encouraging "al Qaeda types" to "break the will of the American people in terms of our ability to stay the fight and complete the task."

And just days before Democrat victory in the November midterm elections, President Bush knowingly claimed that "the Democrat[ic] approach in Iraq comes down to this: The terrorists win and America loses."

Why are Democrats scared of a debate on America's top issue? And why can't they stand up to the Republicans on the current situation in Iraq?

Because they really do not want to leave Iraq they are playing a game before election.....

Really, how realistic was our chances for winning a war against a enemy we can't see in a country where everyone looks and dress the same. That isn't a war that's an oppression just like when Russia occupied Afghanistan they pulled out in defeat.

We were already defeatED.

And the longer we are there, the more defeated we will be, and the more people we will have that hate us.

"We are creating enemies faster than we can kill them"

Get some facts, come back, then TRY to say something intelligent.

As much as I disrespect McCain for being a say anything to win putz, and for taking part in the birth of the unconstitutional McCain/Feingold bill, he's right this time, but lets not rule out the turncoat R's that sided with the sell out dumpacraps regarding this issue, as well as the rest of the PC puppets that are obstructing the manner in which this war is being fought, of which is cowardly in my opinion...

Well when are you going to hold the Iraqi accountable for the favor that we did for them. Don't they have a responsibility to act right and civil. We did for them something they should have done themselves. Or do you want an indefinate blank check...I would rather start spending American Tax dollars on Americans than pouring our treasury into IRAQ forever.

They should. The evil side of me says "Let the dems go, maybe they would get blown up by terrorists then...." But the good side of me says "They made their bed, now leave them in it!" And eliminate all flights out of the country.

You can bet that John Kerry and John Murtha will be at the head table. There's a reason that they're both named JOHN. It's just too bad that they haven't been flushed because they're full of.....well, you get the picture.

Since when is the republican party the only RIGHT party ?? I'm so sick of all these questions about democrats being terrorist and un-American!!! That's just so stupid. If some one doesn't agree with you on a Iraq they are automatically a terrorist who wants to lose the war?? YOU need to get a life, ask better questions and stop watching Hannity and Colmes
