What am i doing wrong? How can i save it from dieing!?

possibly too much water- leaves often turn yellow

Too much water could be the problem. Keep the soil moist, but not soaked, and let it dry out now and then.

Yellow leaves can also be a symptom of insufficient nitrogen. Pick a fertilizer or plant food that lists its nitrogen content. Room-temperature coffee or the grounds themselves can give plants a quick kick of nitrogen.

It could be several things. Too much or too little water. Too much will rot the roots, too little...

Lift the pot. Light = dry, aerate (poke holes in dirt) and water. Heavy = wet, allow to dry out.

It could also need coperas - iron rich fertilizer. An alternative to coperas is sticking rusty nails (metal) in the potting soil.
