Absolutely. They have found 'feral' children in the woods who were raised with no social contact. They could not speak, read or write and ate raw meat.

This question has been asked so many times! Yes. intelligence is dependent on both heredity and environment. Heredity accounts for about 70% and environment for about 30%. You may have good genes but if you do not have a good environment (proper nutrition education, care, etc.) your intelligence will be affected. By the same token, if your genes are weak intellectually, a good environment can only go so far.

How do we know this? Through many studies of twins. They are the most alike in terms of genes
