In that case it depends on the weather. If it's warm go with the skirt. If it's raining or cool/cold wear the trousers. Either one can be used as casual or formal. As for all the slack you will get for the last phrase in your sentence, I think you made someones dream for the day.

depends on the top to go with it. and the temperature. if you have a casual job go for a nice knee length skirt in something very cool yet proffessional such as light gray with thin black pinstripes and maybe a slightly darker gray top. sleeves that come either a few inches above or a few inches below the elbows. if it is allowed instead of sheer pantyhose it would look very cool to wear thin gray stockings that came a few inches below the knees. silver or platinum jewelry would look great with that. WOW. now im envious im not working with you tomorrow.
