If the Gators were to play a lower level team such as Memphis, they might do well.
They are pretty well matched with Memphis. Jokim Noah could take Pau Gasol, and Corey Brewer could own Memphis' Mike Miller. I would say that Florida's starters are just as good, if not better, than Memphis' starters. The only problem is the bench. NBA bench players are much better than college ones.
I would say Florida would lead Memphis at halftime, 47-44, but then Noah would get tired and Pau Gasol would own Florida's bench.
Final Score: Memphis 98, Florida 89
Gasol: 24 points, 16 rebounds Noah: 19 points, 12 boards
Miller: 18 points, 4 treys Brewer: 28 points
Green: 20 points
Humphrey: 15 points, 3 treys

No. They would lose, although it wouldn't be terrible... Still though, Green and Humphrey won't ever be good NBA players, esp. Humphrey won't play in the league. Richard is solid, but that bench cannot stand up to the NBA... If they played Memphis, who is last in the NBA it would probably be about Memphis 106, Gators 90.
Horford and Brewer would lead the Gators in scoring around 20 points each.
Gasol, Warrick, Gay, and former Gator Mike Miller would each put up 18 to lead MEMPHIS.

Not a chance. You have to remember, every single NBA player was once an All American, or all state, or all conference. My point is that NBA players are the creme of the crop. Just because they toil in the lower levels from a team standpoint has nothing to do with thier individual merits. Also NBA players are bigger, stronger and faster. The college game is much slower, and very different. There is no chance ANY college team could ever beat a pro team.

maybe. noah, horford, and brewer are lottery picks, green will get drafted, and humphrey is an excellent shooter. but remember nba teams are mostly made up from the best of the best college players/high school/international players, so it would be difficult for the gators to beat a bad nba team.

no way the gators could beat a lower level NBA team such as Memphis,if they play under fiba rules, the grizzlies would beat the gators by not more than 15 pts.,however if they play under nba rules the grizzlies would win by more than 20 pts.

No. Not even against the Grizzlies do I think they could win. It is a matter of matchups and what could they do against Gasol? Lee Humphrey is too slow and wouldn't get any breathing room for a shot. His shooting gets the other guys open and with him shut down it becomes who can create off the dribble. Noah is extremely overrated because he has shown no signs of shooting ability and in the NBA the only ones who get away with sucky shooting have phenomenal defense (Ben Wallace, Bruce Bowen who really only shoots 3's). Noah can only compete with Wallace in terms of hair.
