First of all if your going to criticize wrestling, you should at least know some of what your talkng about.Not all elements in wrestling are fake. When someone flips off a belt buckle, i guess that's just an illusion.True, the storylines are predetermined, but injuries are VERY much real.The hits they take and pain they endure is VERY real.Why do people watch, soap opera's.They are fake.And secondly, its called Entertainment.Its fun to watch.

For entertainment. Star Wars is fake. Soap opera's are fake. Television shows, movies and books are almost all fake. If we are entertained by Harry Potter or Desperate Housewaves, why shouldn't we be entertained by wrestling? It is just a soap for the guys! (and girls)

I don't watch wrestling, not only is it fake it's a waste of my time, but people watch it because I guess it's entertainment to them.

I have kids that love it, I thought much the same as you, heap of crap.....till a wrestler threw a commentater flat on his back in a studio
That bloke now has a whole new respect for questioning how "bullshit" this wrestling is so far as to fake/ pain...............
Give credit where it's due - they have to be fit and treat it like work and look the part (always)

It is just interesting. Some people like to see people fight even if it is fake. I love to hear the loud music before the opponents enter the ring. I love the way they jump on each other and hit each other with items. I just think it is funny.

The same reason some people watch those ridiculous daytime soap opera things - its the excitement of the story lines, waiting to see what happens to your favorite character, waiting to see the current plot outcome - basically personal viewing preference.
