for one thing, the earth would fly off into deep space because we wouldn't have the sun's gravity holding us in place.. eventually the earth would probably get captured by the gravity of another star and begin orbitting that star.. of course we'd all freeze to death long before that happened.. but some organisms might survive and then flourish once the earth starts orbitting a new star..

All life on Earth would stop. The Sun is needed by plants for the production of sugars to live. This is through the process of photosynthesis which requires sunlight. This produces oxygen which we need to live. Earth would stay warm but for a short while and then it would descend into a deep freeze. Next we would lose days, hours, years etc and also seasons as the other seasons are determined by the angle of the earth to the sun. This could wreak havoc with weather system. The other fly off into space and could crash into other space objects, especially if they have a gravitational field.

we could placed this in perspective. The sunlight includes ninety 9% of all the mass in the photograph voltaic equipment. That leaves the planets, moons, asteroids, comets, etc making up the relax a million%. The planet Jupiter is extra advantageous than the different seven planets blended. So, regardless of if Earth does have gravitational impact on the sunlight, it is so insignificant in comparison to the mass of the sunlight that if it replaced into not there, it does not make lots of a distinction.

Everything would die including us! The sun is an essential part of life and the earth needs the sun in order for things to grow and for life to be sustained.

Nightclubs will be open forever!
Late night shows will dominate television!
Every living organism will become nocturnal!
No more sexy women in two-piece under the sun!
The Japanese flag will change!
No more school/college/work!
Batwatching will replace birdwatching!
Almost everything will be made to glow-in-the-dark!
You won't need blindfolds for party games (just do it outside)!

Of course, these things will only last for a few hours before everyone will be dead.

I think that the earth would freeze and we might have to make an underground facility that is heated by the earth's core.

It can't but 8 minutes later it would get dark and we would just go in a straight line and eventually freeze.

We would receive a few more seconds of light, then just plain darkness. We would freeze or starve to death as crops require sunlight.
