Nothing is more inspiring than getting up before dawn, traveling to that little town in southeastern Pennsylvania, and watching the possum emerge from his lair.
The crowd holds its collective breath, anxious to know whether the possum will see his shadow this year.
He finally pokes his pointy little head out, and sniffs the air tentatively. He decides at last to venture out of his underground den, and greet the day with vigor.
He's promptly run over by a semi.

I sure did know that today is National Possum Day. My friend and I went possum hunting Saturday night after we had hunted turkeys all day and we killed 2 possums. We cleaned and dressed them and we are having them for dinner tonight. We have 4 couples coming over for dinner. Do you know of a good wine that goes with possum?

For me, everyday is possum day, I see them in my back yard everyday............they sure like to creep at night searching for food.
Is Spam the first pink meat? I think so.

Me and my possum buddies are going to plan and execute "The Great Pez Heist of the Century" While everyone is busy watching the Beverly Hillbillies....and they are distracted.... WE WILL RULE THE PEZ WORLD!!!!! Peace.

yes! enjoy these cool creatures by leaving them alone! They are clean, don t dig, eat snails and mice, rabies are so rare in possums, make sure to check dead one on road inside their pouch (on lower tummy) in case it has little ones... you can call a wildlife rehab place and they will care for the babies!
