I absolutely hate "political correctness" *ugh!*

I view it as a polite way of censoring a person's freedom of speech. It's getting to the point that you can't voice an honest opinion without insulting someone.

Forget political correctness, I'm saying what I wanna say!

They say Politically Correctness is due to the Age of Aquarius. Aquarius being the humanitarian. Caring about people.
But due to human nature. Emotionalism, and extremism. It will actually turn many into humorless tight-@sses!

I think that it is making it worse. I think that it would be better if everyone could just celebrate how they want to and learn that people are ignorant, it isn't like everyone isn't getting made fun of or hurt, just lighten up and deal with it. Everyone on has some religion/race/trait that people will learn to insult, it is our culture.

I don't think it is helping all that much. People are SO conscious that they may say the wrong thing that they aren't saying what they feel. We should be able to give our true feelings and not be worried if we used the wrong term. I don't mean idiots like Imus.

Polical Correctness promotes us to tolerate, appreciate, and embrace other cultures. I'm am highly suspicous of anyone who claims they are against "Political Correctness", as these people tend to be either closeted, or openly bigoted.
