It is a myth & no reality at all. Sometimes thieves, docoits , mafiamen & agents of secret govt or private detective agencies act or spread stories or rumours of existence of ghosts.

Well ghost and other supernatural things do exist, I have seen them with my own eyes.
No, I'm not an open believer in all things.
No, I don't have some loose screws.
However, what I seen didn't seem to be a spirit of the dead. It was just standing there replaying the same motions over and over again. It didn't seem to have any intelligence.
I just think its a phenomenon we cant explain, so we just call them ghost.

They exist, and for the non-believers....all I can say is that they never had one. I wasnt always a believer, until I was about 25 I just wondered. I went to an estate sale and purchased a lot of furniture, once I got this furniture home weird things started happening in one room of my house, the room with the furniture. The first thing that happened was I was out one night with my husband, my son was away for the weekend, and all of his toy cars, toy cars that he did not even play with, were all spread out in front of the front door, my cat was a wreck and refused to come into that room and we were just completely puzzled as to what happened. Things kept happening, I would clean, leave the room, come back 5 minutes later and all the shoes would be thrown all out of the closet after I had just put them away, this happened on several occasions, I would be home by myself and hear whisting right behind me, turn around to no one there, one morning my husband and one of my sons friends were watching TV and they were talking about some sort of drill and a voice questioned them about what drill, it was a kids voice, we would go to bed and turn the lights out only to have them come back on once we went upstairs, the cat refused to go into this room, it was crazy. We never had a problem before this furniture, and what we learned is that sometimes this can happen, this is the 100% complete truth and there is no other explanation for what had happened in that house so I totally believe now. It was creepy but not scary movie creepy, luckily it did not appear to be an evil spirit.

Ghosts (and UFOs) are just the by-products of peoples' vivid imaginations. Those that believe in such nonsense need to get a grip with reality. Some people are easily convinced of anything and advertisers love 'em. After all if somebody can be convinced there is a ghost sitting on the end of their bed just think how easily they will part with their hard earned cash to buy a product they can actually touch and see.

However, there is another explanation for the apparitions & such that many have seen & heard*...

Myth the mind is a powerful thing ad if you believe you will see a ghosts your mind will see something.

I have not seen one so I have to say its myth. I have seen many of patients who talk of hearing voices and seeing people and will talk to another person in front of you. Its seems so convincing but you cannot see that third person. This is call hallucination. Sometime also people fantasies themselves and dream.Spartan

Evil Spirits or Demons do exist but ghosts if you are talking about dead people's spirits, no they do not exist here, if they were servents of God they are asleep at peace, if they were not, then they are locked in the spiritual prison called hell.

They do exist. When you leave physical form, you can hang around the physical world or based through the event horizon of the light, which blends the two polarities back together. Those that stay around are known as "ghosts" to those with the eyesight to perceive different matter.
