Cable - it's always on and is more bursty in speed. Plus cable ususally comes with Cable TV packages.

Online meetings usually flow much faster and so does VOIP phones like vonage

cable is better if you want speed but if you want to save money DSL is fast enough and cheaper

well DSL tends to be a bit pricey, as for speed they are exactely the same matched package to package
