I think with some they are,as long as they know I truly mean it.Not everyone is forgiving enough for that though I guess it depends on the person

Apologies never actually fix anything. They are often like a slap in the face.
If someone steps on your foot and then apologizes, for example, that doesn't mean your foot doesn't hurt anymore.

Yes. I don't just throw out I'm sorrys, if I make the time to apologize to you, I mean it & you'll know it & have no doubt it is sincere.
