my first name isn't a x-stian one nevertheless I changed it because it carries too much of a legacy, and a distorted one as well (at least in my opinion). As for my last name, I have used an abbreviated form of it, occasionally. Let add that these are not formally registered changes, just casually (yet very persistently) used daily

I don't have a problem with my christian name,as I told ya before...but I don't like my surname for sure! it's huge and very difficult to spell and pronounce it ....

Yup. My dad put an elongated version of my name on the birth certificate in case - 'I changed my mind' ???????? Ihate it!!!! I've never been called it, except by doctors and it pis*es me off! I'm going to change it by deed poll!
