Until you are 18, your parents have the right to do alot of things for your own good. Like it or not. Respect your parents and thier wishes and you in return will be respected and trusted.

As for the cart. If you were punished, that was probably severe. If you were told to stop it and get out of the cart, that was the right thing to do. Those are for disabled persons.

She's trying to train you so that you don't go into Wal-Mart, do the same thing when you're 23, and get arrested. She most likely laughed about it when you weren't looking but she is trying to instill in you the importance of decorum so you will know better, know right from wrong and restrain yourself since you're not 3 anymore. Grown ups unfortunately have a job of ruining fun a lot of the time.

Things are going to be rough as you and your mom try to turn a girl into a lady these next few years, but hang in there, honey!!

well playing on a skooter is a bit childish, so she could have told you off for being a child.

But if your mum is punishing you for maybe hurting other peoples feelings (the people who use them) then SO WHAT IF THERE ARE DIABLED PEOPLE AROUND!!!!!??

SO WHAT if they saw you??

They are probably thinking to themselves wow i wish i was young enough to be able to have fun on these things.. They were probably looking at you and thinking.. wow there's a kid who is enjoying being a kid..

DO NOT FEEL GUILTY because your mum or anyone says you have to feel guilty, its not your fault people have to use them.

They aren't toys and every time an out of control kid like you gets on one and breaks it, I have to pay for it with higher prices. Behave yourself and act civilized, moron! What if somebody needed to use it and you were off farting around on it? Some people's children... Yeah, if you were my child you would have been punished too, but in a harsher manner. Grow up!!!

Yes you deserve to be punished. I won't say too severely, but you do need to be addresed on this. There are many handicapped people around and if one of them had come into the store they may not have had one to use because YOU were playing with one. So YES you need to be punished.

if take my opinion your mom had done nothing wrong to punish you, so you should accept it & you should also feel guilty from heart
if on your place i hadn't done that but if done something really wrong & then taught about my mistake then really i would felt guilty & accepted my mistake & pledged to do nothing like this ever again
i'm 12
