I am a big Pokemon fan and i know lots of things about Pokemon. Okay here is your answer, Pokemon's can die, in the game they could die and in the anime they can die, also in the pokemon manga. Here is why, if you played Pokemon blue or red or yellow, and you are in Lavender town, you will find out that a Marowak died because of Team Rocket, if you watch the anime you will find out that Team Rocket caused a fire in a tower which caused three pokemon to die but then Ho-oh revived them and made them stronger and then they were known as Entei Suicune and Raiku. In the Manga, Team Rocket is shown strangling a pokemon in one of the editions of the manga pokemon. So your answer is yes, Pokemon's can die, i do not mean faint, fainting is when a pokemon loses a battle, i mean die as in perish. I hope i was able to help.

how the hell would I know? Pokemon aren't real, they're just creatures in a video game. But I'm sure they do die, anything and everything dies in the world.

Yes, they can die. Did you see the episode when Hitokage//Charmander was introduced? Episode 11. It said that if his flame went out he would die. and also Pokemon ARE living so I guess like all other living creatures, they do pass away at some point. so my answer is, yes, they do die.

Yes. In the show, they've said that one Pokemon or another could've died. They didn't, because it's a kid's show, but I think it's possible. In the game, they just feint.

You can't make you're Pokemon die but, all life ends evenly.

no pokemon can die but they have to loose all of thier HP. then they are dead once all are dead the opponeint wins.

not if you own them in the game, they can't die, but for some reason, other people's pokemon can die... it's stange, can't really explain it

Pokemon can definitely die, in the episodes charmander almost died because of his flame going out.
