i like to be loved but i love to be liked..
that's my own motto...
it doesn't matter who likes me so much as it matters to me who doesn't like me.
i don't want people to not like me.. or say bad things about me.. but i guess if you look at the bigger picture if they are saying something about me.. then they are leaving someone else alone.

well, I'd rather say I don't care! but in some instance you should, What I mean is, it depends. if they think you're a bit out of control and you obviously need guidance, then that's the time you need to take their advice and hear the things they say and think about you, the people who mostly do this are your family and friends, but if your talking about high school crap. like other people talking behind your back and telling other people you did this and that, that made you a horrible person FOR THEM, then don't! you don't have to hear those words or even be affected by it, there's something wrong with them and whatever it is they hate about you, they're probably jealous because they're not you, but take note! if your family and friends tells you there's something wrong, just take their advice, no parent gives advice to harm there child, its for your own good,

To a degree, yes. Everyone is entitled to have an opinion and to express it. If someone doesn't like me, there's really nothing I can do about it. So while I do care, I don't dwell on it because I can't change other people.

Unfortunately I care to much about that. People have told me not to worry about what other people think or say but to be honost it's hard not to. If we all ignored everyone else we would be misinformed and wouldn't know what to wear or how to take care of ourselves. If someone is being negative toward you try to rationalize with them first, and if they are being unreasonable then they are not worth your time.

I don't care what they think but I do care what they say about me. Opinions are like arm pits, everyone has a couple and they usually stink.

I did when I was younger and other's opinions of me mattered. Then I became comfortable in my own skin and now I could care less. You either like me or you don't. That's just how it is.

Only from close friends and family, I care about them so I don't like to embarras them or make them feel awkward. From strangers, no, let them think or say what they want.

Not really. If they waste their time talking about me, it means I'm quite important person for them. We can not please everybody, some people like us, some don't. My life continue to bloom successfully no matter what their oppinion about me is. And that's what matters the most, leading a beautiful life surrounded by people who love you.

Yes I do....It is important to me to be thought of as a nice person....since I try really hard to be just that. I would be very hurt if people talked mean about me behind my back.
