Have you seen this? http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2533698&CatId=2405

I am using that case and power supply right now, you need both and it allready has the mobo and cpu you want and a cpu fan (note video on case in middle of page)

Maybe bump up to DDR2 800 MHz memory
DVD burner instead of your combo drive
I would suggest this card instead http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2452388

Here is what I see:

1. I'd get a DVD burner instead of just a DVD reader/CDRW combo.
2. you are missing a power supply
3. you are missing a monitor
4. although the motherboard will work fine, just keep in mind all those built on things to the motherboard will take away memory. make sure you can disable them.
5. if you are into gaming and the audio that goes along with it, you would be better off with a higher end sound card and not the built in one.
6. You've got RAID available, but are not using it.
7. Missing speakers.

That's a nice set-up you are planning to build. Here are my comments remarks:

1. You can go with a cheap case but not w/ a cheap PSU that goes with it. Buy a good PSU w/ enough power to spare.

2. If you really want to enjoy current games at hi-res/hi-Q settings, the 7900GS or the X1950 Pro would be minimum.

3. If you will spend more for the videocard, you could opt to downgrade your processor to an E6400 and just overclock it a bit using an Asus P5B Deluxe motherboard. Intel boards are ok but they could hardly be tweaked for maximum performance.

I would buy i Bare Bones, for about 200
then its already got motherboard and most of the time processor in it. or you could get a Satilite if your willing for a max of 1.5g of RAM. those as i see are both better options then doing it right from scratch
