Disaster has struck. I had a favourite jumper, you know the one. Holes where the elbows were, frayed cuffs and beer, curry and paint stains.
My wife has thrown it away in the vain hope of sprucing me up.
WHY?
It was my favourite.
It was comfy.
It was my comfort blanket.
I needed it.
Why do you women do these things?

How could she?! I mean curry AND paint stains...that's a real keeper! Is there any chance of driving to the dump and finding it while there's still time? You could get your buddies together, a cooler of beer and road trip to the dump. Hurry, what are you doing on here, there's still time.....
....unless the garbage man found your treasure and took it home for himself :( Maybe you should just be consoled by us. As a raggedy sweatshirt wearer myself....I'm sorry it's gone. We will mourn with you today, on your day of sadness.

Yes, dear and it's called, Wash Day. Whenever I use that word you should see everyone run to their rooms!
Why- Because it is like you said, "Holes where the elbows were, frayed cuffs and beer, curry and paint stains."
And not because it was : It was your favourite, It was comfy or because It was my comfort blanket and that you were in need of it !
The little women of the house wouldn't do those kinds of things to the one she loves.
PS. Just get the heck in that bedroom and hide your old tattered good luck fishing shirt and cap. My guess is before the Mrs. checks your posting out! LOL

I'm a woman but I wouldn't do that. I have several clothes like that myself (minus the beer stains, I don't like beer... mine have grass stains 'cause I like hiking, camping and gardening).
But really, you need some clothes like that. Now watch her nag you that you're wasting your nice clothes next time you are painting the room or changing the oil in your car, wearing another sweater that doesn't have holes in it....

I don't know why women do that, but I had a boyfriend who threw out some of my t-shirts, and jeans, because he said they were too "seductive". Maybe because it's what I was wearing when I met him. Hmmmmmm. So I just replaced them with his t-shirts, and jeans. Which he really didn't like because he felt that I looked to much like a guy then. We are no longer together.

Actually not all women do this. For instance, were it me, I'd nick your jumper for my very own....it sounds comfy.
Either way, you'd be out a jumper, I suppose....and several pairs of boxers...probably a pair of holey jeans too....and definitely some t shirts.

Want to know the truth? We like you to look as hot as possible so that other women will want you and we can gloat and say 'Ha! He's Mine!'
But lets face it, no woman is going to lust after a man with a smelly curry stained jumper!

aww your missus should of let you suck the beer and curry stains out of it before binning it. there will be more jumpers dont worry.in fact i have a few spare holey jumpers you can have one of them if you like. scruffy is cool.

It isn't just women who do this. My husband threw away my favorite sweatshirt because it had a few holes in it. I had to go dig it out of the garbage box. Men..
