Actually, it is weird that you ask. My daughter found it the other day going through some stuff. It is a toy train set. The engine runs on batteries and the tracks are metal and it has several cars with it. It was still in the box up in the attic. Hmmmm, I wonder if I should sell it on eBay? Of curse not, it's priceless! Great question!

It may not have been my favorite toy, but I received a teddy bear when I was one year old. a tradition that my mom gave two of my kids for their first birthday, (my son, i bought his cuz his grandma died 6 years before he was born). but i still have that bear. he just turned 41 and is holding up quite well.

no my beach mother burned him :( it was this huge bear i had gotten when i was a baby and i had it till i was 13. he had a few rips but he still had a few yrs left in him, but NO, Mommy Dearest had to flip out! and burn him alive. i loved that bear i cried everyday for weeks.

And that wouldn't be the last thing she burned, she once said me and my siblings were ungrateful and she burned down the Christmas's tree. Yup the F'n Christmas tree.
I tell her now that when she gets old i'm pretty sure i'm going to stick her in a home and leave her there.

I don't but in my parents house, in their garage, there are "shrine" boxes. LOL!! They still have my "pacifier" from when I was a baby and a doll, without an eye! They think it's cute to hold on to those things, I just love my parents!

noooooooooo, boo hoo hoo!!!! my favorite toys in the world were my sisters hand me down barbies. when everyone else had twist and turn, i had the straight leg midge, and skipper and ken. i had clothes that i made, etc. i LOVED my barbies. my family was really dysfunctional, so they were like my real family. sad to say. one day my mom got mad at me, and she gave them away as a punishment. i was devastated, and all my life i was just so upset about that. until one day i discovered ebay. i won an old midge doll, and when she arrived in the mail, i cannot tell you how i felt. i had such an instant wave of forgiveness, and grief, and joy............feeling her in my hand, was sooooooooooo incredible. so familiar, and so healing. it was the most amazing single moment in my life!!!! i know you probably think, how strange, but, it's so true.
thanks for asking such an interesting question!!!

blessings to you!
