Last time I checked, Dallas won three in a row without Dirk. I think it was in January or February when Dirk was injured. On the other hand, the Suns lost 3 in a row without Nash. Tell me, who do you think is more valuable?

hmm that's a hard one.these days people compare Steve Nash and Dirk Nowitzki.Who deserves the MVP award? It's their best season ever individually.but when it's come to the team success. It's of course Mavs are better than Suns.Suns always plays fast basketball because of Steve Nash. But if the opponent team reduces the tempo, suns struggles. That's why they are going to have some serious problems at the playoffs. When it's come to Mavs. It's different. They are hottest team in the Nba this year.If the tempo is up,they reduce the tempo(especially against suns) on the other hand if the tempo is low, they increase the tempo(especially against Spurs.) Dirk Nowitzki is obviously the leader of the team.He can shoot at any range. If you take him out of the game, mavs sure struggle.I wish he won't get injured during the end of the season or at the playoffs

Dirk is the Most Valuable Player in the NBA
Without them Dallas has no good big men, no player who is an inside-outside threat, and no soul. They wouldn't win 50 games.

This team is really talented (and really expensive too). I think if Dirk was in another team (let's say Boston perhaps?) his value would have been like Gold or Diamond. But hey he still leads his team, so I guess Dirk's impact if ever he tries to move out of this team would hurt a bit but with the amount of talent this team has the bleeding would sooner or later be plugged out.

If you take him our from Dallas, the mavs wont be like that as it is now. He leads his team in every victory. And without him the team will not everytime as you compare it to this season.

Let's just say he's the heartbeat of Dallas.
His rebounding and assists are very high for a player in his position.
He shoots one of the most accurate threes in the league.
He's a good passer of the ball, a good teammate too.
Does that not speak volumes about his value to the team?
