- MVP - Most likely Nowitzki, but Nash still has a good chance
- Sixth Man - Barbosa - I don't think it's very close for this one
- Most Improved - Kevin Martin, possibly Deron Williams
- Defensive Player - Marcus Camby had better finally be chosen. Wallace didn't deserve it last year. Josh Smith is also a contender
- Rookie - Brandon Roy
- Coach - That's hard to call. I'd say either Avery Johnson, Jeff van Gundy, or Jerry Sloan

Here are my answers:
MVP - Dirk Nowitzki
ROY - Brandon Roy
Defensive Player - Marcus Camby
Sixth Man - Leandrino Barbosa
Most Improved - Monta Ellis
Coach - Jeff Van Gundy
P.S. Avery Johnson is the other candidate for coach but it's really amazing how Van Gundy improved the Rockets record from 34 wins last season. Andre Iguodala could be another most improved candidate but showed his game just a bit too late. If the original A.I. was traded a bit earlier, A.I. 2 could have won it..

MVP: Nash. he has become a cruchtime player, a player that his teammates can go to when the situation gets rough. He has a really consistent game going on for him.
Sixthman: Can't really say who excelled in this category. There had been many. So sorry.
Most Improved: A battle between Chris Bosh and Luol Deng. Yeah Chris is a star right now but hey he did elevate his game a thousand leaps that enabled them to make the play-offs for the first time in five years. Luol Deng? need I say more about his intense play?
Defensive: Ben Wallace Still.
Rookie: Tyrus Thomas? the kid has game and had been consistent for the Bulls this season.
Coach: Jerry Sloan made me a believer they were'nt expected to make it this big.

Finally a question with all awards guessing:
MVP: Dirk (has to be him - sorry Nash fan!)
Sixth man: Barbosa (Suns playing well and he is one of the important factor!)
Most Improved: Monta Ellis (Playing amazing this year as he got more chance to play!)
Defensive: Dwight Howard (tough one. I think Okafor but he was injuried too often! Duncan and Josh Smith are close too!)
Rookie: Roy (No other choice. He is the starter of Portland and got all the minutes to show off his skill)
Coach: Avery Johnson (The top winning team ... prove my point!)
