I love football, but I fear I'm not a natural player when it comes to using my legs. Although with training I can get better, the team will have to bear with me though.

Hi There,

I'm not sure how much I can help with your question as I live in England and I'm not too sure about your circumstances. But as to your question about how good you need to be? You pretty much got the answer in your question, one of the beautiful things with football is that you can enjoy it and play it at any level.

I love playing football although I'm not exactly the most natural of players! But the team I play for is more about the team, knocking a ball about with your mates. In England there are always teams available for any level.

Sure everyone wants to play football at a high level, but that can only come from hard training, good coaching and dedication. All the best players in the world have had to start somewhere and work there way up! David Beckham was turned down by Tottenham as a kid, Ronaldo was playing for a third division Brazilian team before his move to Spain! And the greatest player ever Pele used to practice with a jumper tied into the shape of a ball.

There may be a realisation that you may never play at the highest level but that doesn't mean that you can't love playing football. My advice would be practice, train, and enjoy it !! If you just focus on enjoying playing the rest will evolve over time!

Each team has its own demands and needs. Sometimes, a very good player cannot become a member of a team simply becuase there is one player who is better on that position.

It is very hard to answer your question really. Considering someone to become a member of a team is basically the coaches prerogative, it all depends on his point of view.

and, you cannot become better or at least know how good you are if you will just sit on the benches. You need to try out. and even if you will be rejected, you can attend to team practices to prepare for next year.

Good luck!

you'll be fine. Most of our team last year came in with almost no skill but we all developed and dominated a lower league and now we are in a higher division.

If anyone has a problem with you just develop a never give up attitude. For example if someone tackles you and gets past you run back around and confront them again. Coaches respect players that try.

Join the team. Goodluck with your game

Very good and very fit. Although the latter does not matter so much because the clubs have their own fitness regime
