Basically, when I'm playing a song or watching a video on youtube, the audio crackles. I'd say I get normal audio about 85% of the time, but the rest of the time it throws in annoying sharp crack sounds that sound as if they're part of the song or audio file.
This problem occurs in headphones, too, it's not just the speakers, and it seems to adjust according to volume (the louder the volume, the louder the crack noises).
The listed sound card is "Realtek High Definition Audio", driver version 6.0.1.5334, dated 12/1/2006. So they're pretty new...
Just wondering if anyone has a solution as the Acer tech support site isn't too useful and I don't really want to take it back to the store if I can avoid it, just seems like a lot of hassle.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks Humz. Actually that's the first thing I thought of, because my other laptop always did that -_-. But I appreciate the quick and great answer.
