How Do I Free Memory And Clean It. Please Don't Tell Me To Go To Add Or Remove Programs, I Tried That. Please Help!!!

try TuneUp Utilities 2007. It's really useful and easy to use(I'm using it). You can clean up your disks, defragment, clean up registry, check your disk for errors, Undelete the deleted files, etc.

Do you mean remove the RAM modules from the slots and physically clean them?

If that is the case, just push the plastic locks at both ends of the slot. That frees the module. You can clean away dust with a soft paint brush. You may also clean the contact pins with a pencil eraser. Make sure you discharge static electricity from yourself before doing this.

If what you meant is make more RAM available to programs, just disable unnecessary startup programs through the System Configuration Utility. Just click Start then Run. Type msconfig and you will be there.

Also defraging your computer can clear up space.

And there are lots of free cleanup programs to download like complete cleanup and others.
