Because the people of whom you speak are hypocrites who only pretend to stand for truth and morality.

relies upon what united states of america you're in and their rules. In usa it could be unfastened speech if the gang chanting it had the the perfect option to rally at the same time. If there are 3 human beings on the corner chanting death to usa with no longer perfect to rally and 10 everybody is indignant and choose to kick the three's asses then the three are inciting violence and now no longer have a perfect to unfastened speech. It comes right down to majority rule at that factor. Freedom of speech isn't an absolute freedom like many overlook to realize. basically such as you cant pass right into a action picture tutor and yell fireplace. basically like while you're on the travellers soccer interest and somebody gets pissed because you're cheering for the different group.

Great question, I agree with you....why am I an America hater because I question the Bush administration?? I am neither liberal or democrat, but my mama was smart enough to teach me when I was a little girl, to QUESTION AUTHORITY! Then your mama will be less likely to have to come identify you at the morgue.
A true patriot doesn't stick his head in the sand and just assume everything is peachy (just because they keep lying to us doesn't make it so). It's called controlling the media, propoaganda.
WE ELECTED OUR GOVERNMENT...WE CAN TAKE THEM OUT TOO. Stand up for our rights, our Constitution, our Integrity, our safety, our security financially and most of all, our soldiers, troops, men and women who keep paying for oil with blood. We can get more oil, but we can never replace the blood that has been shed during this Bush administration.
Put it in perspective, I love America more that most because I am willing to do something to save our freedoms. I don't go along with the Jone's just because I don't want to "think" for myself! Those who are willing to put their money where their mouths are really are the true Patriots in this country!
Question authority, it may save your life or the life of one of your family or friends. This country is in some serious manure, and the longer we keep thinking it don't stink, then we deserve all the spoils of our hard ignorance...nothing! Will we just continue to lose our rights, and not question it?
Sorry, but I am sick and tired of President's who can't tell us the truth and they can't lie well either. Look at Clinton, "I did not have sexual relations..." can't even cover up a ******** and we still think they are honest???? NOT~~~. It's hopeless, no amount of talking can change someone if they are stupid. It's a true birth defect.
I love this country and I remember what it used to be like. It has changed and we need to reel it back in before it's too late. That makes me a true American. Those who call us America haters are cowards who are complacent and lazy, and they will be the first ones to high tail it when the doo-doo hit's the US Fan!

Last fall I worked to get a retired FBI agent elected for Democratic Representative in my district. She was endorsed by vets, came from military family, running against an incumbent who ranked 0---zero--- by vets. I was standing by vets with signs, as a grass-roots effort to get her elected. We were sworn at by guys of draft age, and approached by people wanting to fight with us.
At that time, if you weren't for "us" (Bush), you were against us (Bush). Votes for military action were used as talking points--- if you don't vote for force, you were weak on terrorism...9/11, 9/11 9/11. ..Terror color alerts, when no real threat existed. etc etc. The drumbeat was constant... intention was to make people fear, and to divide us.
The people who are willing to let someone tell them that they HAVE TO hate, and WHO THEY HAVE TO hate have also allowed others to distort the meaning of patriotism.
It is the patriot and freedom fighter's job to stand up when the Constitutional Freedoms, Laws and Treaties (which are the backbone of a civilized country) are broken, even if it is an elected official that broke them. The true patriot must not have a blind loyalty to the elected official, because those in power need to have their checks and balances. We are so close to institutional facism. Despotism. See movie power of nightmares.

I have been criticized, people might hate me for my opinions, but that's a small price. If the only thing someone can do is call names, it speaks more about their intelligence.
Hopefully, they will watch CSPAN and be able to hear some eloquent voices from the Democratic side.

~It's called freedom of speech. Would you deny them the right to say it? Where does that put you in the scheme of things. Unlike them, I recognize their right to say it, but that doesn't mean I have to listen.
The sad thing about neocon thinking is that they can convince themselves of anything, facts to the contrary notwithstanding. Then they demand that sane and reasoning people accept those beliefs because they themselves believe them.
The good thing is, they are self-evident uptight short-sighted, narrow-minded hypocritics and neurotic, psychotic, pig-headed politicians and anyone with half a brain knows better than to believe them.
The bad thing is, they get elected so we've got a whole herd of hoi poloi out there with less than half a brain.

All of those words are in the eye of the beholder, they carry significantly different meaning between two different people or in this case, two different parties. One man's terrorists is another mans freedom fighter.

That would be the tenaciousness of those like Karl Rove who felt humiliated after the election of 1964 and have yet to get over it.They must stick to their "talking points."After more than 40 years of convincing themselves that those who disagree with them are wrong, and over 40 years of trying to convince others that they are right, the fact that others may be right really means nothing to them.

These simpletons that say if you don't support war and if you speak out against the government have never read 1984. Plain and simple. We are living 1984 and these polarized left right morons are ruining our country.

isn't it sad that no matter which political party anyone believes in, that the reality of it is both parties are hypocritical and both parties today will do and say anything to get peoples votes. our political system is in a sorry state and if we cannot fix it then all will be lost. witness your question and some of the answers here and it makes my point. the lies and hypocracy of both parties is now starting to breed hate.what a shame.
