Quit cold turkey and of course you have to have the will to want to quit. That don't cost a thing. If you can't, you can't, but at least don't smoke as much. You don't say how long you have smoked or how many a day. But if you can't quit, then you make sure you control the cigarettes, don't let them control you. Most smoking is just a habit, they light one up and don't even realize it, or when they smoked the last one. Whatever you do young lady, do what is best for you, and that would be not to smoke, but only you can make that decision. There is nothing you can buy, substitute, or practice that will help you quit. That is just a waste of money, as are the cigarettes. It's the will you must have and the will to stay off of them. I wish for you the very best young lady in whatever you choose to do, and very best of luck.

The easiest way is by not buying them, but when you're addicted to them that's easier said than done. I would suggest you going to your GP as various treatments are available on prescription and plenty of help and support too.
I was forced to give up after a six month spell in hospital where smoking was practically banned anyway and as I was bed ridden I had no choice.
You need to want to give up though that is the main key and if you do then you'll succeed - good luck

I know this will sound strange.... but just after the full moon, try doing some meditation. Find a green candle which signifies health. Mark it off in seven equal portions. You are now going to burn this candle down to the markings over the course of a week. As you burn the candle, take some time to visualize yourself as a healthy, non-smoking person. This will help you to mentally prepare yourself to throw those cigarettes away after the seventh night of meditation. There are also stop smoking tablets you can get at the health food store... I believe they are called Resolve... and they are a minty losenge that is supposed to help curb your desire to smoke. And after only two years of smoking, quit now while it is easier. It won't be so simple after 20 years of smoking. I also believe that smoking is a way for us to supress our emotions... so try to figure out what emotions you don't want to face... then face them and believe that you are worth having a healthy, wonderful life... you deserve to live so work on your mind set to believe that instead of killing yourself slowly with the cigarettes. You can do it. Just have some faith in yourself.

take up running and a healthy life style. This is what i did to help me quit.
When you first start you will only be able to do it for a few minutes. keep increasing the amount of time you run and strive to run for 30 mins straight.
running will make you feel better about yourself and throughout the day, leaving you less stressed out.
you will notice that when you smoke you wouldn't be able to run as long as you usually do and that might encourage you not to smoke (it does for me aleast)
best of luck, hope this helps
