even in class during a lecture or watever, once i have a pen and a paper, i go into a different place and start to just write or draw whatever that comes to mind. sometimes its random and i dont even think of what im drawing or writing.. why is this?

I do that a lot too. It shows that you have a creative mind...Put it to use

It's called doodling and the rest of the world does that as well.
There is nothing wrong with it as long as you lend at least half an ear to your lecture, or you manage to get decent grades nevertheless. It passes the time in boring lessons and it is better than completely falling asleep. It can even be good art/creativity practice. You could also practice drawing faces of your classmates or things in your classroom, as you obviously like drawing.

Well, at least you have an artistic side to your personality. Keep on drawing, and you will just get better and better. There is nothing wrong with that!
But no more calling what you are drawing stupid. Who says one thing is important, and another is stupid. Foolishness! It's all good stuff, got it?!

Because it's fun, it's a way to pass time and sometimes to keep yourself awake, even though you don't realize it.

I do this quite a bit in class and get a lot of really great ideas out of it.

a way of expressing yourself ...boredom. Have you tried
making snowflakes on the snowflake maker snowflakes in the yahoo search that's my usual boredom outlet or way to relax

my bf does that, he just draws random squiggles,...he has ADD and he almost can't help it...not saying that u have that, but it may be possible or maybe your just born to draw...
