Why is 28 weeks later not directed by Danny Boyle?

I was really excited to see news of the movie, but accoring to Imdb, Boyle is not the director and Cillian Murphy is not even in the movie. What gives?

Danny Boyle is on as a producer, but he did not want to do a sequel. He went on to make "Sunshine" with Cillian Murphy instead.

Because the 1st movie was not that great! He did not get the opportunity to do the sequel
