Wiser souls than me have observed that flying involves short periods of terror and long periods of boredom.
Perversely it's the boredom that causes me most anxiety.

i love flying! and for some reason, i am comforted by turbulence, it feels like im on the ground in a car on a bumpy road.

flying is no problem just as long as I pass out before we take off
i don't fear flying i hate it
