Lets say:
He/She had never abused the kids at this point and that the abuse is mental (control freak).
This is truly a hypothetical argument. My friend and I totally disagree on this and I am wondering what you guys think.

I would never leave my kids! And certainly NOT with an abuser of any type. Abusers will almost always turn their abuse on their children at some point.

No i wouldn't leave my kids behind i would take them with me and leave the person. Cause your kids don't need to be in that sort of realationship also. They need a loving mom.

We grew up that way, leave and take the kid"s. there are different places that will help out, so there no excuse not to take them. why would you even think about leaving them there in a abusive situation.( hypothetical)

I would first leave asap, and then set up my life to take care of my kids if it wasn't already, including getting legal matters lined up so the law would be on my side, then I would come back and take the kids.

No i would never do that to my children, personally i would feel guilty to leave them behind to be raised by a control freak.

No..once the victim left...the children become victims.. I..personally would never leave my innocent children behind..they are my life..

l'll try to bring them with me but l'll also ask them first since l believe they have a say on the matter. lf they chose him l'll respect their decision but l will only relent if the guy is responsible and can be trusted.
